Pondering Again
Alternately titled as: The blog post that I supposedly wrote at 1:30 am but I don't remember writing. It is now, like, 5:30 pm. I read it. It sounds like my opinions. But I must have been half asleep when I wrote it.
Man is, by far, stronger than woman, but only woman can create a child.
All surgeons should have to be shot. Or stabbed. Or lose a leg. You know, they should know what kind of pain they're dealing with. They make psychiatrists get psychoananlyzed before they can be certified, but they don't make a surgeon get cut on. And why is bounty hunting an actual, legal profession, while prostitution is an illegal profession? Why is it still considered a profession if its illegal? Is it, like, the profession that you can't go into? Because if you do, and you get caught, you're going to jail. And some people have actually tried to get away with a crime by saying they didn't know it was illegal. I mean, seriously, what rock have you been living under that makes you oblivious to the fact that taking something from a store without paying for it is illegal, and is actually called stealing? I mean, sure, a young kid, maybe homeschooled, didn't know that downloading a movie or some music off the internet is stealing, that I might believe, and just let the poor kid off with a warning. But a 39 year old didn't know that stealing a $400 digital camera from the store is illegal? Really? Some people are really stupid. Like the 52 year old guy who shows up at a 13 year old girl's house while her parents are out, presumably in an affair with her, brings his 3 year old son with him. Needless to say, police were called when the girl's parents came home early. The man was arrested and the boy's mother was called to pick him up. Here's the kicker: They were still married, and they had 2 other kids. And now she's a single mom of 3. How stupid. And then there's the guy who killed himself because his fiancee was murdered 4 days before their wedding. I mean, come on, he's obviously upset, but did he really think that if he killed himself he would end up in heaven with her? I'm not G-d, but I'm not sure if people can get into heaven by just killing themselves. Sorry, I didn't mean for this post to take a religious turn. Bible-y stuff and religious stuff is pretty much over now. And then there are those women who breastfeed their kids, even after they start school. I mean, come on, the girl is 9 years old! I don't know about anyone else, but I stopped when I was around two. Mom, correct me in the comments if I'm wrong. I'm pretty sure the cut-off for breastfeeding is about 3 or 4 years. And then some people actually put leashes on their kids. Leashes! I mean, its a kid, not a pet. They make them so its a stuffed animal that the kid can play with and love, and it has a leash extension, usually in the form of a tail. And they let them pick out the one they want. Its like "Okay, Molly, Okay Timmy, go pick out your leashes so I can walk you around the mall and go shopping without having to keep track of you." And they don't even have to hold onto the leash! The parent or other adult with them can clip the end of the leash to a belt. Hands-free child rearing. I actually saw a 6 year old wearing one. I mean, it might help with a little kid, say 2 or 3 year old, if you need to get something done, but, seriously, a 6 year old? I think she knows by now to not run off. I don't think she needs a leash. And if any of her friends saw her there, wearing a leash that attached to her Mom's belt, they would laugh and mock her. Not that I agree with leashes on younger kids, because I don't. I think, if you decide to have a child, or if you have a child by accident and decide to keep them, or if you adopt, you should be willing to let the kid experience life, and not limited experience while on a leash. And then there was this woman who adopted a child from Russia and 2 weeks later she puts the 3 year old on a plane back to Russia, saying she can't care for him anymore. I mean, why did she adopt a child if she couldn't care for a child? Then, 6 months later, she asked to adopt another child, but they wouldn't let her, because they feared she would do the same thing. That boy was so scared, he didn't know what to do. You can't just stick a 3 year old orphan that you just adopted on a plane that will be in the air for 12 and a half hours and expect him to be okay. And then the police were called because a man put his 4 year old in his gym locker because he wanted to work out and he didn't have a babysitter. Police were alerted when another gym member heard crying and banging coming from one of the lockers. And then the man tried to say that he wasn't the boy's father, and the kid kept saying he was and calling him daddy. Then the guy told him to shut up. The police arrested him and ran a blood test. Oh, surprise. He is the boy's father. Apparently the mom was dead, so the boy was given to his grandparents.
