The Tuesday Quote Is Late

Sorry. I have two quotes for you today because I should have posted this yesterday, but I didn't.
"We cannot learn without pain" - Aristotle
"A world without string is chaos" - Ronald R. Smuntz (HaHa Mousehunt. Great Movie. Rent it. Watch It. NOW!)

I love Robert Frost

This is my favorite Robert Frost poem

"Fire and Ice" By Robert Frost

"Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice."

Tuesday Quote Is Late

Sorry. I've been on new meds and got a lot of bad side effects.

Tuesday quote for 4/13 (I know today is the 14th) is
"But of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: For in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." Genesis 2:17

Sorry I'm feeling Bible-y today.

Tuesday Quote

Tuesday quote for 4/6/10 is “Everything had broken down and new things had to be made out of the pieces. Collage was like an image of the revolution within me—not as it was but as it might have been.” —Kurt Schwitters

I was also digging around in my garage and I found a notebook with a very nice poem by Carol Shields on it. And no, I don't know who Carol Shields is. Okay, I looked it up in wikipedia. She's a Canadian author that was born in 1935 and died in 2003 at age 63. So there. And I have no idea what the name of the poem is, so don't ask.

"Go for long walks,
indulge in hot baths,
question your assumptions,
be kind to yourself,
live for the moment,
loosen up,
scream,
curse the world,
count your blessings,
just let go,
just be."
